Andolsun, Biz sizi biraz korku, açlık ve bir parça mallardan, canlardan ve ürünlerden eksiltmekle imtihan edeceğiz. Sabır gösterenleri müjdele. Onlara bir musibet isabet ettiğinde, derler ki: "Biz Allah'a ait (kullar)ız ve şüphesiz O'na dönücüleriz." Ayrıca şiddetli bir hastalık, kamil bir imana sahip olmayan insanın çabuk yılgınlık gösterebileceği ya da manevi zaaflarını ortaya çıkarabilen bir durumdur. Ancak bu zaafının farkına varan kişi, samimi iman sahibi ise hemen bunu telafi yoluna gider. Böylece hastalık onun hatasını fark etmesine yol açtığı için bir güzellik halini alır.

Fakirlik ve açlık korkusuyla imtihan:

Şeytan, zayıf imanlı kimselere fakirlik korkusu verebilir. Bir Kuran ayetinde şeytanın çabası şöyle bildirilmiştir:

Şeytan, sizi fakirlikle korkutuyor ve size çirkin-hayasızlığı emrediyor. Allah ise, size Kendisi'nden bağışlama ve bol ihsan (fazl) vadediyor. Allah (rahmetiyle) geniş olandır, bilendir. (Bakara Suresi, 268)

Müminlerse, canlarının, mallarının ve sahip oldukları herşeyin Allah'a ait olduğunu, rızkı verenin de alanın da Allah olduğunu bildikleri için, bunlarda meydana gelen bir eksilme onların ahlaklarını, düşünce yapılarını ve Allah'a olan sadakatlerini asla etkilemez.

Türlü korkular:

Bazı insanlar ölüm korkusuyla, gelecek korkusuyla, sevdiklerini kaybetme ya da başarısızlık gibi korkularla imtihan olduklarında herşeyin kaderde olduğunu unutma gafletine düşebilirler. Oysa bunlar şeytanın kalplere korku salmak için verdiği telkinlerdir.

Duygusallık :

Değişen şartlardan ruhen etkilenmek gibi Kuran'a ters düşen her hareket, bilinç altına yerleşen duygusallık telkininin bir işaretidir. Müminler bunun şeytandan gelen duygusallık telkini olduğunu bilir ve Kuran'a göre davranırlar.

Karamsarlık ve ümitsizliğe düşme:

Şeytan karamsarlık ve ümitsizlik telkini vererek insanları şevksiz bir ruh haline sürüklemeye çalışabilir ancak iman edenler bunun bir deneme olduğunu bilirler.

Vesvese ve kuşkulara kapılma:

Şeytan gerçekte var olmayan olayları insanların kafalarında sanki varmış gibi gösterir. Kişinin sevilmediği, güvenilmediği, başarısız bulunduğu gibi türlü kuşkulara kapılması bu imtihanlara birer örnektir.

Dünya hayatının süsleri:

Şeytan kişiyi sonsuz ahiret hayatını düşünmekten alıkoyup dünya hayatına yöneltmek için mal, servet tutkusunu ya da sapkın eğlenceleri süslü göstermeye çalışır. Bu süsler de kişiye birer imtihan oluşturabilirler.

Öfke ve kin duyma:

Şeytan insanlara öfke ve kin telkini vermeye çalışır. İnsanların işlerinin planladıkları gibi gitmemesi, yakınlarına sinirlenip kızmaları, günlük yaşamın bir parçası olan örneğin trafik sıkışıklığı gibi durumlarda öfkelenip Kuran ahlakına uygun olmayan tavırlar sergilemelerini ister. Mümin için bu tip durumlar, Onlar, bollukta da, darlıkta da infak edenler, öfkelerini yenenler ve insanlardan bağışlama ile geçenlerdir. (Al-i İmran Suresi,134) ayetinin hükmü gereği öfkelerini yendikleri birer imtihan konumundadır.

MÜMİNLERİN ALACAĞI GÜZEL SONUÇ

Dünyadaki imtihan ortamında, sağduyu sahibi insana düşen, vicdanının sesini dinleyip, Allah'ın kendisini bir denemeden geçirdiğini hiçbir şekilde unutmamaktır. Samimi kalple Allah'a yönelen bir insan karşısına ne tür bir zorluk çıkarsa çıksın, mutlaka bir kolaylıkla karşılaşacak ve doğruyu bulacaktır. Bu imtihan dünyasının en büyük sırlarından biri, iman edenler için mutlak bir kazançla noktalanmasıdır. En büyük kazanç ise hiç şüphesiz, iman edenlerin bu denemeler karşısında gösterdikleri güzel ahlak, cesaret ve ****netin, onların ahiretteki karşılıklarını ve derecelerini artıracak olmasıdır. Allah müminleri Kuran'da şöyle müjdelemiştir:

Hiç şüphesiz Allah, müminlerden -karşılığında onlara mutlaka cenneti vermek üzere- canlarını ve mallarını satın almıştır... (Tevbe Suresi, 111)

... Şu halde yaptığınız bu alışverişten dolayı sevinip-müjdeleşiniz. İşte 'büyük kurtuluş ve mutluluk' budur. (Tevbe Suresi, 111)
